  • Sabrina Sigler | She/her

    Editor in Chief and Founder

    Sabrina Sigler is a Multimedia Journalism graduate based in Glasgow. Published internationally, Sabrina has always been passionate about social issues, and the vital ethical role played by journalists reporting on these. Sabrina also has interests in art, cinema, and grassroots activism. She currently works within community climate action.

  • Bethany Watt | She/her

    Deputy Editor and News Lead

    Bethany Watt is a freelance journalist with experience at STV, the Royal Television Society, and the Scottish government. Her favourite subjects to cover include human interest stories, activism, and film. She’s always keen to hear new stories. You can contact her at bethanywatt90@gmail.com

  • Wardah Bilal | She/her

    Visual Media Editor

    Wardah is a photographer based in England. She has a passion for telling visual stories through photography, often blending film and digital photography to create soft and nostalgic tones. Her work is inspired by daily living and cinema. Trying to find stillness in life.

  • Katie Veitch | She/her

    Creative Writing Editor

    While studying English Literature and Library and Archive Management at University of Glasgow, Katie Veitch began writing for online creative magazines and university publications. She has had work published by a range of journals, all surrounding the themes of womanhood, isolation, independence and the working class experience.

    Katie is now a Publisher with a Scottish Indie Press, Leamington Books where she leads Editorial on fiction novels and poetry collections and has a deep understanding of how to progress from first draft to final publication. Katie is currently working on a novel which explores matriarchal and egalitarian society through science fiction.

  • Ellie Moffat | She/they

    Assistant Creative Writing Editor

    Ellie Moffat is a lover of books and libraries. Based in Glasgow, with a background in geography, they are new to editing and are very enthusiastic about the role. They are passionate about equality, accessibility, and community.

  • Rebecca Laverty | She/her

    Art Editor

    Rebecca Laverty is an artist based in Glasgow. A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art and a self-suspecting autistic girl, her work explores ways of communicating the indescribable through drawing and painting.

    While her visual work attempts to 'bear the weight that language can’t', she also has an affinity for the written word, and is interested in how text and image can assist one another to map out our complex inner worlds.

  • Sumaya Moustafa | She/her

    Illustrator

    Sumaya Moustafa is a freelance filmmaker and multimedia artist based in Glasgow. Exploring themes of existentialism and the artists condition via illustration, painting and film - often with a childlike tone. She is a big believer of playing!   • Irene Sanchez | She/her

    Events and Social Media Assistant

    Irene is from Málaga, Spain. She’s been living in Scotland since 2017 and studied Film with Sumaya and Wardah. Her interest for social media and events comes from her constant seeking for places that bring people together where everyone is free to express themselves.

    You can find Irene at the roller rink if she isn’t busy colour grading, starting a new hobby, or taking care of her cat, Cooper.

    Magdalena Styś is a writer and poet. Their work has appeared in Also Cool Magazine and the Bitter Melon Review. They’re currently studying linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. Find out more about their work and connect with them below.

  • Robina Nguyen | She/her

    Staff Writer and Graphic Design

    Robina Nguyen is a Toronto-based high school student and the current EIC of The Outland Magazine. Her work has been featured in the West End Phoenix, Ambre Magazine and Shameless Magazine among others. She loves to paint, haunt local bookstores and argue about the Oxford comma.
