Disobedient is founded and ran by students. All costs for Issue 01 were covered by our editor-in-chief from her personal money, these costs included printing costs, software subscription (Adobe) and front cover image costs. Our current monthly running costs (online only) are £15.60 (monthly) and £19.20 (yearly).

Going forward and in expansion Disobedient wishes to become a community interest company (CIC).

It is of the utmost importance to us that Disobedient is accessible to all, therefore, we offer free or donation-based digital copies of our physical issues.​ Along with our Disobedient Online content which is free forever.

We also hope to be able to pay our contributors in future issues of Disobedient. In order to do this, save up for Issue 02, and to continue covering our monthly costs for the site any donations via our PayPal would be much appreciated. Alternatively, check out our 'To support' page.
