On Romanticising Mental Illness | Lu Byrne

On Romanticising Mental Illness is prose by Glasgow-based student, Lu Byrne. On the piece, they said “ I wrote this specific piece to both try and be square with myself and my understanding of mental illness.

“More generally, with my romanticisation of depression and to explain to people that I love part of the thoughts behind some of the darker periods that happen.”
