If you want to experience something that feels genuinely impossible, 1 Moment in Time is an absolute triumph of a show. Going into a mind-reading or mentalism performance, you always expect a few clever tricks, but what Sean Alexander creates on stage goes far beyond standard illusion: it feels like witnessing real, unfiltered magic. Delivering a breath-taking five-star performance from start to finish, he crafts an atmosphere of complete awe that leaves the entire room stunned. There are no gimmicks or cheesy theatrical setups here; just an insanely gifted performer who effortlessly connects with the audience in ways that defy any logical explanation.
What made the experience so unforgettable for me was being chosen as one of the volunteers to step up and help. He had me select random audience members for his next connection, meaning there was no way he could have known or predicted who I would pick. Yet, without missing a beat, he began revealing exact dates of their family members' birthdays with terrifying accuracy. In one of the most stunning moments of the night, he handed a lady in the crowd a personal gift linked specifically and uniquely to her, leaving her utterly floored. The climax was even more mind-bending: he produced my actual engagement ring out of an egg timer taken directly from a locked box—a box opened using a combination formed by the birthday of the son of the audience member I picked. It is without a doubt the best piece of live magic I have ever seen.
What truly elevates the production from a great magic act into a deeply moving evening of theatre is its incredible emotional heart. Weaving through the impossible reveals are personal stories from his own life, detailing family hardships and pivotal moments his family overcame together. It ties seamlessly back to the title of the show, reminding everyone in the room just how precious and transformative a single moment in time can be. Rather than just showing off skills, he uses his gift to create a genuine human connection, making the room feeling incredibly warm and united.
By the time the final reveal lands, you are completely speechless, shaking your head in total disbelief while wiping away a tear. He isn't just a performer putting on a slick demonstration; he is a truly astonishing, real-life magician who delivers an absolute masterclass in storytelling, mentalism, and emotional depth. 1 Moment in Time is a rare, magical masterpiece that stays with you long after you leave your seat, and it deserves every single one of its five stars. It is an extraordinary production.
